Romney Speaker Dr. DeShawn Taylor

On April 6th, from 1:00-2:00pm in the Parlor, Dr. DeShawn Taylor, a self-identified Black Christian female abortion provider, will speak to us about her work and her recently published book Undue Burden: A Black, Woman Physician on Being Christian and Pro-Abortion in the Reproductive Justice Movement, which utilizes the framework of reproductive justice to argue for abortion as a moral good and challenges us to reclaim the moral high ground from the anti-abortion movement.
