Wound Care Presentation
In February Reverend Douglas Avilesbernal led us in an introduction to First Aid training to address the hurt and pain caused by racism. He urged us to use the ABCs of first aid; that is to Act, Be present and to Conspire to create a path for those who have been hurt. Seattle First Baptist Church will now engage Reverend Avilesbernal’s “Wound Care” to address the hurt that has been identified. Wound Care requires cleaning the wound in order for it to heal. This presentation took place on September 13 2022 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM via Zoom. Reverend Avilesbernal took us deeper into the process of addressing racism.
