Joining the Bell Choir

The bell program at SFBC is relatively new and we are actively recruiting new members. Rehearsal are on Tuesday nights from 7:15-8:30 p.m. and beginner’s classes are held periodically depending on demand.

It’s easy to sound great!
Handbells are a particularly accessible instrument; acquiring basic technique to “sound good” takes less time with than almost any other instrument. Within one piece there can be a variety of difficulties of parts, which makes bell choir a place experienced musicians can play with beginners. If you want to make music but have long ago put down your clarinet or tuba, bell choir is a great way to get involved in musical worship.
